Twiglet

Twiglet was our first parrot, we collected him from his breeder Sue in August 2002 and right away he settled in. It was as if he had always been here.

He loved his showers, lifting his wings up to make sure you did not miss anywhere and he excelled in ornament tossing, breaking some but you could not be annoyed with him.

Then in February 2003, he lost his voice and did not seem his normal self. We went to the vets and were told he had Aspergillosis, he tried to stay with us but lost his fight for life two days later.

That was the worse day of our lives and we still miss him terribly, but one good thing came from the sadness, he found us a friendship that will never be broken.

Twigs, we will never forget you.
