Many hours of work goes into building a website on this scale, from the making of graphics, to typing endless text documents. Time is taken to contact authors of various works, articles, stories, poems and images to specficially request the author's permission to reprint their work. Once a request has been allowed and the owner of any image or article agrees to inclusion of their works on this website, such works will become copyrighted by Parrot Passions UK and become the property of the site owner unless specifically stated otherwise.

Hours, months of research taken to compose articles written by ourselves. Nothing appears as if by magic! Many people view a site and take a liking to perhaps an image, graphic or article and think how nice it would be to have that on their site, not once giving any proper thought to the word 'copyright'. Some individuals think nothing of copying an article and replacing a percentage of original text with their own and claiming that article as their own. There are laws which determine what is known as 'fair use' and such action can still result in a breach of copyright laws.

If, while visiting this site you see something you would like to add to yours, contact us, do not just assume because it's here you can take it. Permission is always required. Permission will NOT be granted after the fact.
